Job Title: Seasonal Venue Concession Supervisor

Location: Lake Erie Speedway – North East, PA (just north of Erie, PA)

Seasonal Position: May – September

Position Overview:

Lake Erie Speedway is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and customer-focused Seasonal Concession Supervisor to lead food and beverage operations at our motorsports entertainment venue. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Prior experience in concessions, special events, or restaurant management is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision & Leadership

· Oversee the daily operations of concession stands during events, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food presentation.

· Recruit, train, and supervise seasonal staff including cooks, cashiers, and runners.

· Promote a positive, team-oriented work culture with strong customer service standards.

Customer Service

· Monitor service quality, ensuring staff provides friendly, efficient service.

· Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain a high level of satisfaction.

Operations & Inventory Management

· Manage inventory levels, place orders, and reconcile stock with vendors.

· Ensure proper food preparation, presentation, and safety compliance in line with health department regulations.

· Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate timely deliveries.

· Oversee maintenance and functionality of all concession equipment.

Cash Handling & Financial Reporting

· Enforce proper cash handling procedures including register operation, balancing tills, and daily sales reports.

· Monitor for accuracy, prevent loss, and ensure financial compliance.

Health & Safety Compliance

· Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed at all times.

· Maintain clean and organized concession areas in accordance with safety guidelines.

Event Preparation & Post-Event Duties

· Assist with setup and breakdown of concession areas before and after events.

· Ensure all supplies and equipment are ready prior to opening and secure at close.

Work Schedule:

· Event Days: Saturdays from 2:00 PM to end of event (typically 11pm), with occasional Fridays/Sundays for special events. Times may vary on event day.

· Weekdays: Flexible hours for scheduling, inventory reconciliation/stocking, and cleaning.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Proven experience in food service or hospitality management, preferably in concessions or high-volume environments.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

· Experience with inventory management, cost control, and vendor coordination.

· Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.

· Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

· POS system and cash handling experience preferred.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

· Must be available to work all scheduled 2025 events.---

Preferred Qualifications:

· ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain.
